In the world of go carting, many participants have embraced the sport competitively, which has resulted in racing events occurring across the nation at tracks made especially for go cart street racing. Amateurs and seasoned go cart drivers are attracted to the large scale go cart racing events that have become serious competitions. Endurance karting is what many of the go cart races have been dubbed because most of the popular track events consist of long distance races.

Endurance karting is an event where a series of races are held at tracks around the United States, such as those in Florida, North Carolina, Nevada, New Jersey and Connecticut. The events have 90 minute, three hour, four hour, six hour and eight hour races with participants of all ages and experience levels competing. The endurance karting has a system set up to classify the racers by age, weight and experience level. In each race there are several first place prizes awarded because teams from every classification level compete in the races.

This type of racing is said to be a European style. Racers and advocates of endurance karting enjoy it because it mimics the Nascar races. The set up of these long distance, time consuming go cart races is professional grade. Go cart racers have driver changes throughout the race and tedious passing and other driving skills are strategically executed by each team.

Endurance karting events bring in numerous racers, but since the competitions are so long and require driver changes, teams are a must. Avid go carters or those that are members of a go carting club often bring their own team of three or four drivers. If you are new to the sport or just a lone rider, individual racers are welcome and will be appointed to a team.

Street racing go carts has become a hobby of so many because it appeals to a large age range. Go cart racing seems to not discriminate in the audience it attracts. The reason behind the interest in racing go carts is different for each person as well. Some enjoy the thrill and rush of fast races, while others have a taste for the challenge of enduring a long distance competition and working with team members.

There is no doubt that at events such as the endurance karting races, being a participant will introduce you to an
enthusiastic population of go cart racers. Endurance karting events and races like them are successful also for the diversity within them. The events not only host endurance races, they also hold special occasion events to appeal to a more precise audience.

Endurance karting has go cart racing events for families to participate in together. They have also held a women’s go cart racing day where experienced women drivers offered tips and lessons and all women go carters where recognized. The endurance karting challenges are for amateur, semi-pro and professional go cart drivers and each year they hold a championship series for those who follow the trail of racing events around the nation.

Finding some good information on the latest PC games can be quite a difficult task. I’ve tried to do a Google search with the key words ‘latest PC games’ or ‘current PC games’. I got thousands of replies but most of them were not what I was looking for. I’ve been keen on playing PC games for a long time and I’ve always found it hard to come across any decent sites giving updated information about the latest PC games. Nowadays all the attention goes to gaming consoles and thus, finding news on computer games is getting harder and harder.

Probably the most popular gaming platform are computers. So you can look for the latest PC games on websites devoted to them. It is not really difficult to find lists of new games and their prices but it is a couple of times harder to find any good sites which offer reviews about the newest PC games. If I have to recommend you some sites I’d suggest you had a look on my personal favourite ones – Gamespot, Gamespy, IGN, and Gamezone.

You can always find recent reviews of the lastest PC games on them, as well as some information on the most popular and newest console videogames. Even though I sometimes fully disagree with the reviews published, I still believe they are useful, at least you can get some basic info about the game, for example what it’s genre is. In my case, if it’s not one of the types I like, I don’t purchase it and save some money. If I have genuine interest in a particular game I usually read at least a couple of reviews on different sites about it. That way I get all the information I need before going to the store and buying it.

One of the reasons why you should try to get as many reviews as possible about a PC game before purchasing it is because the price of the latest games varies about $50 per title. I cannot imagine anything worse than spending your hard-earned money on a new PC game which might turn out to be a beta program filled with bugs, a game with a poorly conceived plot. However, it is true that most of the latest PC games are no good, as the standard is getting lower and lower.

Being completely honest, I have to admit that from time to time even nowadays a real treasure comes out of the blue. This gem gets much more appreciation and popularity now because the rest of the new PC games are not worth it. I try to regularly check for news on the latest PC games on varies sites with the only hope to find and buy one of these gems.

Welcome to the world of the drifters; a subculture of Japanese who meet to test their driving skills, show off their souped up hot rods and burn a lot of rubber.

The word ‘Drifting’ describes a cornering technique where the front wheels of the car point in the opposite direction to the turn, resulting in the car sliding round the corner almost at right angles to the turn – effectively a controlled skid. The practice has long been used in various forms of motor spot racing, such as rallying and early Grand Prix, but it was a young Japanese boy racer, Keiichi Tsuchiya who is credited with popularizing drifting. Tsuchiya later went on to win several major motor sport titles and become a drifting legend despite having his race license suspended during his early career, due to his continuing participation in street racing.

Tsuchiya has now retired from both professional and street racing, but is revered internationally for his drifting skills, and his contribution to drifting was recently honored by his cameo performance in the street racing movie “The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift”.

Today, drifting is still very popular with the Japanese and the DI Grand Prix is a major fixture in the motor sport calendar, but it is the culture of street drifting that has captured the imagination of many car fans across the world, and has for a large part been popularised through drifting videos [http://www.motoraddicts.com] that have been posted on the internet by drivers and their fans.

The flamboyant, crowd pleasing and rebellious nature of street Drifting has spawned several Japanese manga (comic books) that are based on the practice. Keiichi Tsuchiya is an editorial supervisor of the title “Initial D” which focuses on the world of drifting and Touge (pronounced Toe-gay). Touge literally means “pass” and has come to describe a form of racing in Japan, where drivers use narrow, winding mountain roads to test their driving skills against each other.

Street drifting has since spread around the world, and is popular in the USA, UK, Europe and the drifting craze has even reached the Middle East.
